To echo not the sound of vengeance or the heat of retribution, but of sound judgment. The kind of reasoning that reminds us that cooler minds prevail. That at the end of the day, instead of hanging our heads low from the frustrations of long-fought battles or hard-won struggles, we can keep our heads held high — because we chose to settle things before escalating matters.
These are what these chambers, these halls, and these offices are here to represent and embody. Not for the people of today, but for the children of tomorrows yet to come. Those yet to know what it is to love and make mistakes. To know what it feels like to rage against the machine — and quietly settle in for the night knowing tomorrow is another day and the battle still awaits.
This generation stands to uphold that light. Not to enforce will, but to defend autonomy and the freedom of consent that choice brings to the living expression of the ideals we hope to embody — as ambassadors of an old paradigm given new life through the matrix of commercial society.
It is to these humble measures that we keep this charter. The NHV Federation is hereby established on this day, under Athena and Minerva’s caring hearts and watchful minds. We set this venture into effect. Unanimously.
